The Lodge is located on Scenic Vermont Route 30 in Newfane Vermont, which is a nationally registered historic town. Originally called the Riverbend Motel, the Lodge was built in 1969 and furnished with handcrafted pine furniture from Pioneer Furniture in Townshend Vermont (also known as Townshend furniture). Many pieces of these exquisite furnishings still adorn the rooms of The Lodge today.  Located in the heart of Southern Vermont's West River Valley, The Lodge is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and endless possibilities for outdoor activities.
